Tips for Combining Styles from Summer & Fall

by Administrator 1. September 2010 01:29

We love how one of the big trends lately is: not being confined to one season!  At the end of summer, you really don't have to put all those pieces in the back of your closet and not see them until next year. Here are some tips on how to make fun styles by COMBINING the seasons:

  • Neutral Beach Bags: You can use neutral colored beach bags in the fall to make for a more relaxed boho look in your fall outfit.
  • Summer/Spring Dresses: YES you can still wear them.  Throw some fall tights or leggings under them and you are all set! OR just throw a blazer or vest over the top of them along with a great belt.
  • Sandles: Until it becomes bittertly cold, YES you can still get away with wearing those fun gladiator inspired sandles. Flirty sandles really make strong fall styles tone down a little!
  • Scarves: Want to wear your summer shirts a bit longer and its still not cool enough to put a layering piece underneath? Make it work with a fun lightweight scarf!

Cover All Your Assets

by Administrator 31. August 2010 07:44

Our goal and motto at Undertease is to help you Cover Your Assets.  We make all the great fashion trends out there WORK for you! You can still look sexy and fun while using undertease to 'cover your assets.'  Let us show you a few examples with the celebs.

#1 White Blazer Trend

In this photo, Blake Lively has on a great white blazer but is showing too much skin.  The legs would have been enough on their own!  In contrast, look how beautiful Kim looks in a white blazer with a black top underneath:

#2 Maternity Looks

Baby bumps are adorable but sometimes people take showing them off a bit too far! When you use our maternity line, you keep the lines smooth.  Everything stays in place and you get great coverage while still showing off the cute baby bump!

Don't forget that we have regular size, maternity size and plus size lines to help everyone cover their assets and pull together their outfits!

Boho Style Tips

by Administrator 25. August 2010 05:14

Lots of women of all ages want to pull off the Boho style but it can quickly cross over into looking hobo and losing all shape of your body. Here are some great tips on pulling off this style.

  • Wearing a boho style doesn't mean losing your shape. Look at this form fitting and fabulous dress on Kate.  The retro and earth toned PRINT makes it boho.

  • The boho look can also be pulled off in just the accessories.  For instance, the HAT!  You can pair this hat with simple jeans and a white tee and it pulls off the boho look really well.

  • Wool shorts that you can pair with thicker tights and sometimes even leggings gives a boho look that doesn't lose the shape of your body.

Remember: use Undertease as a layering piece to put it all together!

Outfit Idea of the Week: Tomboy Chic

by Administrator 24. August 2010 04:45

The masculine "tomboyish" elements of this fun outfit are the vest and the wool shorts. The sexy, feminine elements are the fabulous shoes!  This outfit is fabulous for the "transition months" where it is starting to get just a bit cooler but not cool enough for long wool pants!

But the element that ties it all together, the element that is a basic in your wardrobe that you should have a couple of....

The White Tee!

Va Va Voom Cap Sleeve (Plus Sizes) 3003
I think it would even look fabulous with a 3/4 length tee from our Undertease line!

Such a fun outfit.  Give it a try and be sure to use the undertease to pull it all together!

New Face at Undertease

by Administrator 13. August 2010 04:18

Sarah Scott is the newest face at Undertease and today we are interviewing her to get to know her and find out how she is going to take Undertease to the next level.

  1. What is your background in fashion? Where do you pull your fashion inspiration from?
I've been in retail and the fashion world for over 6 years and just love it! I have worked at many different stores including Buckle, Hollister, and Blend Fashions. Each of these helped me along my way and have broadened my fashion sense. I love looking at magazines and modifying the current trends to a more every day wearable fashion. With me, comfort is key but you can still be stylish!!

2. We know that you were a huge fan of Undertease before you began working for them.  What is your favorite piece from the line and your favorite way to work it into your outfits?
I would say my favorite Undertease piece would have to be my white long sleeve scoop neck. It is so versatile that I can put it with anything. I wear it underneath t-shirts for a cute layered look, with a vest and cowboy boots, or an adorable dress during the cold winter months. It's so comfortable and I just love it!

3. What will be your job at Undertease?  What will you be doing for the brand?
I am the accounts manager for Undertease which means I will handle the customer service side of the company. I will also lend a hand in producing new products and in expanding this awesome brand.

4. How do you hope to make sure every customer has an excellent experience when they order from Undertease?
Basically by seeing to all their needs and making sure each customer absolutely loves the product they receive. We know this product is amazing and want our customers to feel the same way. I will strive to make this happen for every person!

5. Any future sneak peek news you can share with Undertease fans about the brand?
We should be introducing two new bodies to our line which include a v-neck and a half sleeve top. Very adorable!! We also will have some hot new colors that will pair nicely with the upcoming fall fashion!

Suzy Q 3/4 Sleeve

by Administrator 9. August 2010 09:40
Suzy Q 3/4 SZYQ3/4

Our Suzy Q 3/4 Sleeve is $12 less than our Signature 3/4 Undertease and a great item to stock up on for the upcoming fall season. Our lower price point and light weight Suzy Q line won't be around forever so be sure to stock up now! These new light weight foundations provide the same great shape and silhouette as our Undertease brand, while providing more breathability.
Here are all the reasons that we LOVE this top!
  • A classic shirt for all seasons, the 3/4 sleeve can be dressed up or down for every occasion.
  • Summertime: Wear it under a maxi dress.  The length on the arms covers any “arm issues” you might be worried about. We love how great this sleeve length looks under all of the fun maxi dresses.
  • Back to School Shopping! This is a great “key piece” to keep on coming back to, and it also goes along with all the Back to School fashions. Make worrisome fashions WORK by layering this top with it.
  • Jackets: Jackets are a huge trend this upcoming fall, especially jackets that have some embellishment to them. So pair one with a more basic top: the 3/4 Sleeve Suzy Q!
  • These tops are also great for layering during the cold winter months.  We have lots of fun colors to brighten up your winter season.
  • Moms love this sleeve length because the “grit & grim” from a long day with the kids doesn’t collect at the ends of the sleeves.
  • Our other favorite part is...look how many beautiful colors you can choose from!

Rose
White
Black
Midnight
Amethyst
Terra Cotta
Limestone
Clay
Dark Brown
